Information: 111,000 miles, Hurst shifter, Gilles boost regulator (set at 17psi) Intercooler, hood, and 3.55 rear all from a 87 Turbo Coupe. Seller claimed a 14.85 quarter mile @ 93MPH Originally I had a 1986 Thunderbird 5.0, but the time came when I could no longer keep it. It was my first car, and about a year after selling it I really started missing it. I wanted to find another 83-86 Tbird if possible... I saw this car on eBay while stationed in Texas for Air Force tech training. The seller was only about an hour away from my parents, and I asked them to pick it up if I won the auction. Unfortunately, I was outbid in the last 5 seconds of the auction. I was so bummed. About 5 days later, I recieved an email from the guy who won the auction, telling me he thought it was the 87-88 style Turbo Coupe. He saw that I was the person he outbid, and asked me if I still wanted it! I said yes, then I sent the money to my parents to go get it. When I returned home about a month later, it was sitting in our driveway. It was the same color as my '86, and I was so glad to have another Thunderbird, especially one in such great condition.
