i have quite the collection of pictures of the whole transplant, if u ever want them, e-mail me! I started out with a 3.8litre V6, which started nocking, so i threw in a 302, standard output. A friend of mine and myself spent 3 weeks custom building the engine mounts, all bracketry and wiring harness. Custom floor shifter and centre console and backseat lighting. K&N P-Flow, deleted A/C, deleted EGR, external tranny cooler, custom true dual exhaust, and a bunch of other custom stuff. The main thing to notice about my 302 is that the upper intake is backwards. I pulled the engine from a 1989 Grand Marquis station wagon, and the fuel rails didnt allow for the manifold to go on the normal way. It rolls on 15" aluminum rims. limo tints out back and in the quarters, 35% up front. Mustang front seats. I just successfully installed the tranny from my V6, 'cause the one that came with the V8 was burnt out. It works, if anyone is ever planning on doing the same. also: a cut up bumper jack makes a GREAT tranny crossmember! 1500W subs and sony xplod head unit.UPDATE: THE CAR GOT REAR-ENDED BY A DRUNK DRIVER IN A RENTAL IN LATE JUNE '05. ON JULY 21ST I HAD THE CAR SCRAPED. I KEPT THE 302 FOR FUTURE PROJECTS. SORRY TO INFORM YOU ALL, WITHOUT PICTUES.
