My Grandparents bought this car brand new off the delivery truck, brand new, with 12 miles on it. They have owned it ever since. When my Grandpa died last year (Apr. 05) at 92 I was able to inheiret it because my Grandma decided not to drive anymore at about the same time at 90 yrs old. The Cat had 46,000 miles on it and was garaged all its life and saw rain once. I've loved this Cat ever since I saw it new. When I got it home I changed the badly leaking vlave cover gaskets and and lower intake manifold gasket (oil burning on the manifolds is not a turn on). At the same time I decided to put in a Ford Racing Intake Spacer and Accel 14# Performance Fuel Injectors, and a 180 degree Thermostat. About a 2 months or so later I installed at Jet Performance Ford Module and a Fram Air Hog air filter, and Hot Damn that thing moves. It never really pushed me in my seat, but know it does. Before all these mods, my Grandpa let me install a Flowmaster after-cat exhaust and now it really rumbles. Removed the original, no road damaged; flawless TRX R390 rims and put on Mustang GT Rims with 205 65 15 Dunlop Sport tires. (the Michellin TRX tires were original from day of purchase, still had life but for $300 per tire to replace... I needed some more wallet friendly tires) But I should note, that these pics were taken before what will really curl your toes of all you Cougar fans or any of you car nuts. With in one week, this past Feburary, the Car got egged and that very weekend during high winds blew my roof off and one hell of a roof tile did a dance across the hood and left dents and gouges in the paint. (ahh Frick!!) Any way future plans....

Future Plans: paint job of the original Silver; hurts me to say that. Intall either a 8.8 Mustang Cobra Rear end or upgrade to 3.55 7.5 Rear end gears. Maybe intall BBK Upper/ Lower manifolds with 65 MM Throttle body and EGR Spacer.
