Information:	My Cougar was orignally purchased by my dad. In 1994 he bought a 1992 Cougar and passed the 86 to me with 188000 km on it and said drive it till it dies. As you can see it hasn't died yet. It had a 302 auto that did 17.5 in the 1/4. I have put a 302 ho engine ,T5 trans, and a 8.8 rear end with 4.30 gears in it. The motor is stock except for a gasket matched upper and lower intake and Ford Motorsport 1.72 ratio roller rockers. It has 1 1/2 inch headers with dual 2 1/2 exhaust. Body wise it has a custom hood made by me courtesy of the local swap meet and the whole car was painted Ivory Metallic. The last thing I did was install 15x5 1/2 front and 15x8 Weld wheels. The last time I had it at the track it did 14.5 sec in the 1/4.


Future Plans:	I have since purchased another 1986 Cougar that I plan to rebuild like this one, only better and faster.
