Ever since the Blue Max Editions were brand new I've always wanted one. As luck would have it, in July of 2000 I was able to get one, albeit slightly damaged.

Structurally the car was mostly fine but it needed some new fenders, new header panel, and a new radiator. The previous owner had, let's say, tried to take the Cougar off-road. Didn't work out so well. Unfortunately the body was too far gone to make it worthwhile to get back on the road. There were a few other issues that I felt were unfair to pass onto someone else. I salvaged what I could and scrapped the rest.
